LATITUDE ON THE MOVE
Our Beach Mobile's been on the move, with shows in Hilton Head, Savannah, Panama City Beach and St. Louis (thank goodness we FLEW to that one!)

A HUGE "Thanks" to the Parrotheads who made us part of their entertainment lineups at both Flipperstock (St. Louis) and Parrothead Rendezvous (Panama City Beach).

It was our first time playing at both of these events, and we hope to do it again...soon!

THIS MONTH
This month, we head to neighboring North Carolina as part of the Pleasure Island PHC's annual Spring Phling, then west to Arkansas for Beach House on the Hill.

At the end of the month, we head to Florida for a special "Mini Tour", including a very special show featuring Tom's Dad, "Jumpin' Joe"! If you're in the area, you don't want to miss it! Check out Schedule Page for info.

MEET THE PHLOCKERS
Just TWO Days after putting our My Space page together, we began receiving emails from friends suggesting we check out a new website that is similar to My Space, but dedicated exclusively to Trop Rock Fans!

Being "technically challenged" as we are, this was almost too much for our brains to handle, but we are proud to announce that now you can also find us at this new site!

Membership is FREE and it's a fun way to stay up to date with everything going on in the Trop Rock world. You'll find most of your friends and favorite Artists already there!

LAST MONTH
And speaking of great adventures, we had such a great time hanging out with our friends at the Mega-Event, "Stars Fell on Alabama"!

The SOLD OUT Event, held in beautiful Gulf Shores, AL, featured 12 musical acts and raised $12,000 for area charities.

A Special THANKS to Charlotte, Capt. Vinnie and all of the amazing folks who put this great event togeter, and to our friends who traveled from across the country to be part of the fun!

THIS MONTH
The "Conga Line Tour" hits the road again this month, playing for the first time at TWO popular events, Flipperstock, in St. Louis, MO, and Parrothead Rendezvous, in Panama City, FL.

In between, we've got some great shows lined up in our Homeport, and we are spending time in the studio working on our 6th CD, "Island Girl"!

We just returned from our second appearance at "Trop Rocks the Smokies", held in Pigeon Forge, TN. What a weekend! Each act was backed by Nashville Musician's, and each night's performance culminated in a Jam Session -- Jim Morris, Sunny Jim, Brent Burns, Kelly McGuire, John Frinzi, Jack Mosley -- all of us on stage together -- something we RARELY get to do!

After being part of this show featuring Trop Rock's "Heavyweights", we are invigorated and excited about what's going to be our busiest year ever!

With barely enough time to catch our breath, we head South this weekend to the Alabama Coast for a perfomance at "Stars Fell On Alabama". This is the first time we've been part of this Mega-Event. The lineup is pretty impressive and we're looking forward to some "fun in the sun".

If you didn't grab a ticket to this SOLD OUT Event, you can still get your Alabama "Latitude Adjustment" at a public show at Lulu's , the INFAMOUS restaurant owned by Jimmy Buffett's sister!

In addition to all the Road Trips and Local Performances, we are busy in the studio, working on our 6th CD, "Island Girl". We have been playing some of the new songs at our live shows, so come by and catch a "preview"!

The phone has been ringing, the emails have been coming in, and our calendar is filling up for the Spring and Summer! This year is looking to be our busiest yet.

We're traveling to new places and revisiting some familiar places as well.

In the Home Port, things are shaping up for a full local schedule too.

HERE'S THE LATEST NEWS!

SOUTHWEST FLORIDA UPDATE

Last month, we decided to take a few weeks off and head to Southwest FL for some much needed R & R.

While we did manage to enjoy some "down time", our friends in SWFL just weren't going to let us into their neighborhood without playing at least a few shows while we were there.....And what a GREAT time we had!

Thanks to Dennis, Nancy, Josh, the staff, and the everyone who made it to the Nav-a-Gator Grill for two tremendous shows that we won't soon forget!

Thanks to Kim Mize, who managed to put yet a third Latitude show together at Bubba's Roadhouse!

Thanks to CW and the staff at "Bubba's" for adding us to their schedule on such short notice!

We need to send out a special thanks to Jerry and Sally York, Steve and Debbie Johnson and the local Parrothead Clubs, who made a special effort to spread the word about our "visit".

We're sure there were many others who used that "Coconut Telegraph" as well, and to all of you, a HUGE thanks!

And thanks to our pal and fellow Trop Rock artist, Sunny Jim, who during his show at the Nav-a-gator, invited us to join him in what turned out to be a solid hour of great acoustic music. If you were there, you know -- the harmonies were incredible!

We're talking about taking this show on the road....so stay tuned!

This was only our second appearance in SWFL, and we are truly overwhelmed by the support and enthusiasm of the Florida "locals", many who traveled a great distance to catch our shows.

We really appreciate you taking the time and making the effort pack the place!

We can't wait to come back!!!!

TROP ROCKS THE SMOKIES: Pigeon Forge, TN

This month, we head to Tennessee for a Trop Rock show that is in the Major League!

Trop Rocks the Smokies is a Two Day event that is held in a theater and features the biggest acts in Trop Rock music in a concert backed by Nashville Musicians.

The Talent Lineup is a who's who of Trop Rock: Jim Morris, Sunny Jim, Jack Mosley, John Frinzi, Brent Burns, Kelly McGuire....and Latitude!

We are so excited to be included in this lineup and we're looking forward to being part of the show again this year. Tickets are still available.

Some of these venues schedule their entertainment a year in advance, so we need to start working on this now!

LATITUDE ON RADIO MARGARITAVILLE

Since we don't have Sirius Satellite Radio, we can't verify this, but it's been brought to our attention that Radio Margaritaville is not playing any Latitude music on their station.

If you'd like to hear us played on Radio Margaritaville (or your favorite radio station)contact them and let them know!

If you are hearing your favorite Trop Rock Artists on your favorite station, write them an email and tell 'em, "thanks!"

Our Trop Rock DJ's need and appreciate your comments, so let 'em know what you'd like them to do differently, but more importantly, let 'em know what they're doing right!!!

Trop Rock DJ's are our lifeline. So let 'em know you appreciate their efforts!

In 2006, Latitude celebrates it's 10th year of entertaining audiences worldwide!

It seems like yesterday that we came to Myrtle Beach for the summer as the house band at the Myrtle Beach Resort. (After spending way too many summers in land-locked Nashville, it was an opportunity we just couldn't refuse!)

How could we have known that our 'summer trip' would have lasted 10 years, and that our new home base would inspire us to write and produce four CD's, and bring us opportunities to play in 16 states, Europe and the Caribbean?

To say that the past 10 years have been an incredible journey would be an understatement!

We are planning some great surprises for the coming year as our way of saying 'thanks'!
